The rocks hit their mark, half burying the Tyrannosaurus with a bellow of outrage. The great pieces of earth beat against the giant dinosaur, cracking against his skull, bouncing off his hid, and smashing into his ribs. By the time the rocks found stable positions, only the reptilian behemoth's limp tail and legs were visible.
Titanosaurus cackled in glee. He'd won, he'd won, he'd won!
The rex begged to differ. Exploding from the pile of rocks, the titanic beast thundered in rage. The rocks that had been used as a weapon against him now rocketed at Titanosaurus. One caught the great amphibian in the nose, striking with a wet crunch. Another glanced off his eye, throwing his head to the side. Several pelted his torso, winding the sea monster. Gasping in pain and the need to regain his breathe, the marine therapod staggered. That's when the local ruler struck. Bounding forward, the tyrannosaur chomped down on Titanosaurus's shoulder. Still moving forward, the mighty carnivore slammed his aquatic foe into a cliff face. Pulling back, he repeated the action, again and again, until the rocky wall was stained red.
Throwing Titanosaurus to the ground, the T. rex rose one taloned foot high into the air and prepared to slash down with his ivory claws...
