I bet GODZILLA VS THE DEVIL would've gotten banned!
Anyways,as cheesy and campy GODZILLA VS BATMAN would've been,it would've been a cheesy good film like GODZILLA VS GIGAN.I think Batman would've fought Godzilla in a giant Bat-Bot.

Yep, I'd like to see this. Maybe I'll (try) to draw it. Try and replicate the Mosugoji suit, have it fighting the Mechabat aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'll be putting this in Gotham City instead of Tokyo, thanks much.

It would have changed the future of both franchises forever.

Okay, maybe not so drastic, but if it happened, it would be something DC would forever try to forget....

Really? Would that REALLY have been the silliest thing Batman did in the 60s? Shit, if anything it makes Batman an even HUGER bad-ass.

Hey, Batman put a black cat on a raft...that's pretty bad-ass. Actually, it might be tougher than beating Godzilla...

Wonder if Batman was put into a size enlargement beam so he was the same size as Godzilla? ....THAT would have sucked.

The movie would have been more silly then the 1960's TV series. Batman was campy in the 60's since that's how the comics where. It was until after COIE where they made Batman dark thanks to Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns". You can say Toho did the same back in 1984 with "Return of Godzilla" as well.

Funny how Batman and Godzilla had a few things in common. I remember Kpa said DH wanted Superman to fight Godzilla as well in a crossover comic.

Well, knowing Toho, Batman wouldn't be a well-trained crime fighter, but some 50 meter superhero mutant with bat powers and shit.

DC would have weeped, especially since when people bring up Batman films, this one will be brought up as well.

That sounds awesome, and still no less silly than when he and Robin teamed up with Scooby and Shaggy.

^ That happened back in the 70s too when Batman and Robin teamed up with the Mystery crew to take down the Penguin and Joker.

I have no idea, to be honest.

Also, for people talking about a "giant Batman" fighting Godzilla or something, the short proposal mentioned the various Batman vehicles, so I wager it would be like seeing Godzilla fight the Batmobile, planes, etc. Not that exciting, unless someone finds the parts where Godzilla fights the military to be the highlight of the Showa films.

^ Ha maybe the Batcopter would fall onto another convenient pile of rubber like in the movie (1967)

If the Bat-vehicles (controlled by Bats, Robin and Batgirl) could combine into a Voltron (Batron?) we'd be in business!

Perhaps have Mothra outfitted with bat devices, and team Batman ride Mothra like a vehicle.

I still think that Toho wanted Batman to be a 50 metre monster. I mean they did upsize Franky and Kong.....

But batman is an actually full out human, unlike the undead Frank and the primate Kong. Could he be increased in size, sure, but according to the description, Batman uses his vehicular weapons. (that might be a run-on sentence, but who cares?) :P
