Personally I would like to see Michael Fassbender have a staring role. He is one of the finest actors of our generation. I would also like to see Claudia Black get a big movie role like this. If she is in it though she must not cover her accent, her Australian accent adds to her charm IMO. Stellan Skarsgard dosn't get enough movie roles IMO, so why not add him as well? While I'm add at let me say Kenneth Branagh could also have a role. The guy is a damn good actor as well as writer/director. Ellen Page is always an excellent addition. Some final casting I think Lawrence Fishbourne would be awesome as a military genaral, and an asian actor as President would be interesting.

I wouldn't mind seeing Yumiko Shaku again. I don't expect it happen, but it would be pretty neat.
