But seriously no one too big but with potential, like James Marsders could be a good scientist type (i.e. Serizawa), Nathan Fillion would be a great military guy or average joe type. Quality without the extreme price tag. Or Mark Harmon as the military general hell bent on destroying Godzilla. :huge: Gibbs vs. Godzilla! LMAO

Eh. Actually, I just imagined the closing narration from G85 in Morgan Freeman's voice. It was awesome.

Maybe someone we wouldn't expect (know how Hal from Malcolm in the Middle blew us away in Breaking Bad?). I think the main guy just needs to be lovable. Like the guy from Insidious, main dude from Monsters. Just someone who cheers you up in that Peter Outerbridge kinda way.

I agree with having Lance Henricksen in some roll of this flick. The man has been a fixture in the genre for almost forty years now. Damien:Omen 2. ALIENS. ALIEN 3. THE TERMINATOR. PIRANHA 2. ALIEN VS. PREDATOR.PUMPKINHEAD. Millenium. Seems proper that he should have a part in a film with the King of the Monsters himself. I even stated that he should be in this flick when the news that this flick was in the offing on another forum.

Lance Henricksen would be awesome. Can't believe the idea never came into my head. We're too busy thinking of the obvious people who you'd think of, but not the obvious people who you never think of. i.e. Lance Henricksen.
