The #1 Kaiju I wanna see in this movie is Hedorah for obvious reasons.He would really fit the part of the movie.

As much as I want to see KingGhidorah...he needs to be push aside on this film very far away.At least until the squeal then he'll be like the Joker status you'll never know.

I would throw in a ally for Godzilla, at least Rodan.Rodan is a very interesting monster, for him being very fast and agile would give him great scenes.

If Hedorah doesn't make in the movie then I think LP needs to make there own Kaiju.A Kaiju that is very strong but has a reason to fight Godzilla other than being a last minute battle like in Godzilla 2000.

Or maybe even after King Ghidorah. So disappointing expecting a new monster after KG dies only to learn the "Fire Dragon" is just a flying saucer.

Maybe Titanosaurus? He was a powerful HtH combatant and held his own against Goji. it would be cool to see the hurricanes he made as well.

Biollante and Titanosaurus make the most sense as villains for the first film, from a screenwriting perspective. Titanosaurus and Biollante are essentially Godzilla but in a different shade. Therefore it's easier to write into the origin. This is a tactic Marvel used with ALL their pre-Avengers films. Iron-an fought a guy in a bigger suit that stark designed, Hulk fought Abomination made from his blood, Thor fought his Asgardian brother, and Captain America fought Red Skull, who was made form the same serum. It's not very creative, but it works. Save Mothra, Battra/Megalon for the second film, and then in the third film bring in Alien monsters such as King Ghidorah and Gigan. Or for the third film, you can go full on apocalyptic with Hedorah. Mechagodzilla should be saved for a potential fourth film.

On Topic, I would like Rodan or Anguirus. Save King Ghidorah for a sequel if it happens. But I wouldn't mind if it were the destroyer of worlds. I pretty much agree with Tyler's list. One of the non-alien, earthly monsters would be best for this film.

I personally would like to just Godzilla fighting monsters that were made for the film, you know; crap load of giant expendables and the big bad.
But Angy or Mothra wouldn't hurt either.
