Did we not learn our lesson from last time?

Exactly. We'll get a Japanese-style Godzilla (who looks like him, has atomic breath and is immune to most weapondry) in full CGI facing off a monster...the story could be nothing but the characters farting, and it would still be a better movie than GINO.

That's why I think it's best to just go into this upcoming film with zero expectations. I learned my lesson from GINO: Don't overhype something, because then it's always going to be a disappointment.
Seriously, nothing ever lives up to the hype, especially not an American Godzilla film.

Google "Godzilla 2012 Brian Rogers", and a video interview where he confirmed this, should be the first thing to pop up. He says he will fight an "other monster, or monsters".
...That hardly implies Godzilla will fight SEVERAL monsters.

We live in an age of bitching and incredible cynicism. This is bound to happen.

But there's so much to bitch and be cynical about!
