Could you please use proper grammar? You know, periods, commas, capitals. The way you're saying things right now makes it seem like it's all in one sentence. It's very annoying and tedious to read.

Also, I really don't see how that explanation has anything to do with what King Caesar was asking. Just because you had dreams of playing in a Godzilla suit, doesn't mean that there should never be a CGI Godzilla.

Rubber suits may make the monsters look more realistic, but in Jurassic Park, which looked more like a living creature- the animatronic T-rex or the CGI T-rex? We also need to consider that this is going to be an American film which, as all monster movies around in the US today, Godzilla most likely will be CGI. Another thing to consider is that for GINO, they didn't use a suit, and if he didn't use a suit in his film, it's possible Legendary Pictures will use CGI, just as Tristar did.

But there are pictures of suit-mation and animatronics from the 1998 movie.

A good special-effects wizard uses every technique at hand to get the best results.

If you start to get excessive with just one you will run beyond the limitations and it stops looking good. No matter if it's CGI, suitmation, stop-motion or animatronics or simple optic-tricks.

It just happens to be CGI that is overused these days for even the least things like footballs and blood.

.... Ali?

Yeah, I'm for CGI, as stated before. After watching some of the (HORRENDOUS) string work on some of the suits in the movies, we don't even need to take risks.

Agreed with this, it's also on youtube somewhere.. I saw it a while ago i believe it was a suit actor for when they lured Zilla into the park for the 2nd time. There was a lot more suit's in G-98 an animatronics then people think. So suit's or not wont make a difference in the films quality.

This thread isn't about the Japanese films. It's about Legendary Pictures' American one.
