We could always hope that a website like IGN or aintitcool will ask about it. I havent seen a whole lot of hype for this film outside of the g-fandom.

Maybe because the movie does not have a lot of hype due to the fact we know very little about the movie. I'm hoping we will see some more big infomation in the next few months.

I hope Brian Rogers does not become like Matt Greenfield where he will say the same old bullshit over and over again like "Oh it will get made soon".

I assume you mean about ''Jurassic park 4'' Well Joe Johnston originally bailed on the 4th installment. It was Steven Spielberg that kept hyping the film to come in 2004, 2005, 2007... Joe Johnston only confirmed ''Jurassic park 4'' in January 2010 saying he would like to get together with Spielberg an develop a script for the film.

So JP4 is pretty much dead, at-least until 2013 or 2014 but after how shitty the 3rd installment was im on edge with a ''4th''

Johnston's been on and off the project several times. He was on it in 2001, then around 2003 he was off, then around 2005 he was on, then around 2007 he was gone, then in 2009 or so he said maybe after his current projects.

Really, the one hyping shit up is Universal with the toy line and new theme park attraction, but usually only Spielberg or Johnston speaks and generally we get one tidbit a year. For the past ten.

No. Stuff like that never gets officially announced.

If it was dead? Maybe. But development hell, no, development hell is a term coined for when they insist a project is moving and they don't do jack shit.

If we don't get anything by March, then we worry. A film with a release set for next summer would need to be filmed this summer. They can't film this summer without a script, writer or director. And a script is rarely written quickly. It's a pretty gradual process. If they plan to shoot this year, they'll need to have a writer or director picked by March or April to give time before filming begins.

You're correct, I worded myself badly. My basic point was a script couldn't be cobbled together in a few days.
