Midnight release: would you go?

Postby Tim85 » Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:34 am

If they were to do a midnight release for this movie at your local theater, would you go?

While I don't normally attend midnight releases, for this movie, I would.

Would anyone else do this?
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

I can't see this being big enough to justify a midnight release.

skreeonk no.

I'm never going to a movie the opening week again. Not even for Godzilla. A midnight release? Crawling with sweaty, annoying meatsacks? Never.

Yeah it depends how much hype the movie has. Funny how Oceans got a midnight release at my job, but movies like Predators and Machete did not.

I doubt it'll make midnight releases but since the movie is made by Legendary Pitcures,it could have some possibilities.

Several theaters in my area conduct midnight showings to just about every movie that comes out, especially 3D films. I'll definitely be going!

Damn near every movie at the local theater by my house gets a midnight release, even the romantic comedies. So in that knowledge, I'll gladly go to a midnight showing for this movie. Especially if it looks like a good take on the character.

TDK had a midnight release. I can't say if I will go or not since we know nothing about the movie. The only midnight release I went to was for Brawl, and I would go to more midnight releases if my Mom lets me (She refuses to pick me up around 1:00 or 2:00 in the moring).

I don't drive, and I don't plan too. My Mom, Dad, and Aunt are the only people that can drive me. My Mom pretty much works all day, and she told me that she does not drop me around 9:00 PM and pick me around two or three o clock in the moring.

What, never?

Seriously?

I skreeonk hate driving and bum a ride off my friends and family whenever I can but even I still realize that it's an incredibly useful skill to have in the modern world.
