Kaiju-wars... here's the main problem with your idea... Why would either Krystalak or Obsidious make it into this movie? Both of them came from a video-game that... frankly... didn't do well. Legendary Pictures would have more sucess bringing in Rodan, or Varan, or some other monster that's popular, and not two video game rejects (Though I DO want to see Bagan in this movie, but I know that won't happen). Plus, the main villan monster will probably be something from Toho's archives of monsters... something people already know, not a brand new Kaijuu...

Personally, i want there to be 3 monsters: Goji himself, a weaker monster like Anguirous for him to fight off at the start, then a tougher kaijuu like King Ghidorah or Destroyah that creams both the other kaijuu and Goji's butts, forcing them to team together to defeat the true villan...

That, I think, is a good idea, and you made really valid points, what I am getting at is that, Obsidius and Krystalak, or just one of them as fodder. You know, just so people will stop saying, this or that would happen if they were in a movie. (Well, were I live at, that happens a lot) You know, have something similar to GMK as in Godzilla fights three monsters, but this time, he is a good monster, not evil souls of WW2. That is all I am saying.

Disagreeing with a non-sensical idea does not equate a lack of imagination. Throwing in monsters that NO ONE wants to see? Yeah, real creative.

The troll accuses people of trolling. I am amused.

It was mentioned that there would be Godzilla and one or more foe in this film.

I just watched Destroy all Monsters a while ago, and I think a film filled with a whole bunch of monsters could work out. But I think it would be too early for a movie like that, seeing as how the last Godzilla film made was Final Wars ... which sucked, quite frankly. Then we have Pacific Rim coming up.

So I still pull for two or three monsters. I want a new monster to appear, but I'm beginning to doubt that will happen.

How many other monsters?

Hopefully none.

But if I had to chose number, and what monster.

I'd say 1, make it Anguirus.

Well it's been officially confirmed there WILL be at least two monsters, so...

I'm personally hoping for 3 monsters, but I suppose 4 would work. Maybe an enemy monster and a neutral monster. I don't care, as long as they handle the monsters well.

P.S. Video game monsters are bad ju ju. Adding Krystalak or Obsidius (a molten rock golem, how creative!) would be bad, but BOTH of them? Hey, that makes me think- if Asylum did the effects, it'd even LOOK like a video game!

what if it was 2 monsters...

Godzila and his enemy.

But we still had that smaller enemy? As in the main enemy in a weaker state?

Godzilla Attacks city.

Meteor crashes in city, a newborn Ghidorah rises.

Godzilla kicks it's ass. Ghidorah flys off into space.

Years later, a much bigger, UBER Ghidorah returns to Earth.

*cue epic battle sequence with Heavy Metal background music.

No it must have ominous latin chanting.

Unless it's like Sephiroth's Advent Children theme where it mix of both.
