The netflix death note movie is the Godzilla98 of death note.
I hope to god wingard stays true to Godzilla, unlile what he did with that movie.

This. He dumbed down Death Note to the point it became a former shell of what it was, I can understand some being ok with that as I said, the series was never a masterpiece to begin with but Wingard shown me he has no clue how to do adapting and with all his quotes of turning GvK into a heartbreaking story, I definitely have my worries.

It's gonna be hard to fuck a concept as easy as munky punches lizard but if anyone would, it'd be him..

After watching his Blair Witch sequel, I'm fully expecting repetitive jump scares and ignorantly written characters that make no sense.

I’m going into this film with very low expectations.

I see stupid power upgrades, nonsensical world building and conspiracy crap and more weak attempts to humanize the main characters in this movie’s future.

I’d love to be wrong

Hopefully though, this time they'll get the fights done better than G14 or KOTM. Don't have the fights in complete pitch black darkness like 14 or storms like KOTM (shouldn't be a problem since Ghiddy ain't around). And PLEASE don't cut away from the fight entirely like 14 or cut to foreground humans like KOTM! LET US SEE THE MAIN EVENT

have you seen the Blu-Ray for G14? You can turn the brightness up 100% yet you still have trouble seeing!

Godzilla 2014's home video release and that's it.

Is it just me that remembers it looking totally fine in theaters because it looked pretty amazing to me, it's like either everyone forgot that or waited for the DvD release to watch it

The home video release should be in no way a slam against the movie itself, the movie looks stunning when it's seen the way it was meant to. It should piss you off the company couldn't give a fuck less when they released it

Great choreography, long uninterrupted fights without any cuts and intense fast movements without feeling unnatural with a good sense of scale too. I certainly hope we get more fights like that in GvK and future MV releases!

The fight in KSI is no where even close to as good as Godzilla's fight against the MUTOs..
