Gamera appearing in the MonsterVerse would be fucking amazing, but I seriously doubt it'll ever happen.

I really have a gut feeling that if we were ever going to see Gamera and Godzilla it will be in the monsterverse. If a serbian base is mentioned on screen and then no monster comes from it I would say there is a chance Gamera could be there.

I think that if Legendary had gotten the rights to Gamera, they would have announced it by now to start building hype. But they could be laying the groundwork for Gamera in anticipation of that possibility.

Come on guys. Is it really that hard to guess who it is? It's so obvious at this point. Mothra is in KotM. This base is in Siberia and guess who was frozen in Siberia for 12,000 years in Battle of Earth?

It's only obvious that it is Battra. Who else could it possibility be but him?

My theory is that the Siberia base will tie into Godzilla vs. Kong, not KotM, and will be the big bad of that film.

I highly doubt it’s Gamera, but I can’t think of another place where I’d rather be wrong.

I'm thinking about O'Shea's comments about Gigan. I would love to see it, make him the big bad in GvsKK. If Anguilar appears, my guess is he gets destroyed by the main villain in the film -- either Ghidorah in KotM or whomever is also in GvsKK (if there is anyone else). He's so easy to root for, I feel bad when he gets beat down.

Kicking the bucket aside. Somewhere, somehow, rumoring of another famed Toho Kaiju. One of which may or may not have gotten his jaw broken in a certain movie, may or may not be a cameo in this one. We really don't know what rights Legendary has obtained since, MG did show up in RPO. The other kaiju could be part of that, albiet cameo only, we don't know.

I highly doubt we'll ever see Gamera in the LPG universe - as his rights are god knows where at this point and I don't really see it worth dedicating brain power to "THIS WOULD BE A COOL INTRODUCTION TO <Different IP Kaiju here>". Hell, i'm sure Pacific Rim has a higher chance of showing up in here then Gamera does.
