Gamera easter egg in Kong: Skull Island?

Gamera easter egg in Kong: Skull Island?

In the opening credits, we can see a turtle. In the top right-hand corner, we can see the words "MUTO Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism".

It could just be a coincidence, or maybe it's a reference to Gamera.

I hope that one day Gamera will appear in the Monsterverse, but, assuming that this was an easter egg, I think it's a great little nod.

Well there ya have it folks: the closest you'll ever get to Gamera being in the Monsterverse. Enjoy.

Well, I'm sure someone is a fan and thought it'd be cute to sneak in a reference. Doesn't mean we'll get Gamera but nice to see someone show the big guy some love.

I think hes a troll or underage, he's the one who wanted power rangers and vampires in the monsterverse.
