I still keep hearing it referred to as Godzilla King of the monsters. Yesterday I watched Producer Alex Garcia talk in Mexico about the Mexico City shoot, and he referred to it as such.

I agree, I don't think anything has actually changed. But it is funny whenever I read somebody complain about "oh IMDB is such a lousy resource for information" while simultaneously offering nothing better, AND not lifting a finger to improve IMDB itself. For example, Godzilla himself still has a VFX crew credit on the first film.
