I'm kinda hoping we get something similar to the Marc Cerasini Godzilla novels in that we get to see the film from multiple perspectives. I doubt it'll happen but with a worldwide threat like 4 giant kaiju I'd hope this film can make it feel like a world wide problem. Despite the stakes of G14 the film felt pretty small in scope and the situation lacked a lot of real tension or urgency. Hope they can remedy that even a little. The more colorful cast at least gives me hope for more varied characters and personalities.
