I don't know who she is, but glad you guys think she's a good choice.

She's a young English actress with plenty of television experience. Her first big break came in Stranger Things, a Netflix original series that is damn good. She stole the show in that series.

It looks like Godzilla: King of Monsters will be her first major motion picture job.

She's not great in Stranger Things but she really doesn't speak much. She was also in a BBC show and she wasn't that good in that either. Hopefully she improves and gives a good performance.

Hopefully not. It has that March 22, 2019 release date all to itself after Amusement Park moved to July of 2018.

This will likely change, but 2018 is going to be a war zone.

She was probably the first person asked, and the first person to say "Sure, I want to be in it."

Also, I'm hearing a significant number of people piss and moan about the casting choice. "Kids ruin monster movies." Since when?

I think she's the perfect choice for the Shobijin's tbh. Hope that's her role. I always actually liked the idea that in this continuity that rather then being tiny people, they're just normal size twin priestesses.

They think Jurassic Park is a monster movie.

Jurassic Park IS a monster movie by many standards, and I can confirm that the kids offer nothing. Lex and Tim were OKish, but then they became too much of an irritant for my liking. I guess Gray was alright, but Zach didn't sit well with me. The ultimate worst was the girl in The Lost World who did absolutely nothing

Still holding out for Henry Cavill as lead! Another guy whom I would want to see in the lead role is Sebastian Stan, though Infinity War might lead to scheduling conflict (he does play a great military man IMO, as we have seen in The First Avenger)

Yeah, I've always felt like it's mostly teens and tweens who gripe about kids in movies. Like it's not going to be mature or edgy enough because there's a kid in it. Anyway, she's a fantastic actor. She has so few lines in Stranger Things but she's so expressive that she stole the show for me. I hope they don't waste her.

So far so good. Doughtery writing and directing and a great first casting announcement. Keep it up, Legendary.
