Desplat's score was a massive MEH

Bring in Junkie XL, Han Zimmer, or anyone else for the sequels.

I very much consider TFA to be half-assed. What a generic film which only fed on nostalgia, it brought nothing new to the table.
That's not true. C3PO had a red arm.

Hans Zimmer again? I won't deny he makes good stuff, but I'm so bored of hearing his stuff all the time, especially with how similar his soundtracks are. Personally I'd like a more unorthodox soundtrack, like Akira Yamaoko or Ludvig Forsell, but if we're going with orthodox I wouldn't mind they bring back Reijiro Koroku.

You don't believe in heaven 'cause we're livin' in hell...

I'd personally love to hear how John Williams would approach Godzilla. He composes music that's effective and moving in a way that a lot of film music today isn't, and his use of distinct leitmotifs for different characters and ideas is definitely in line with Ifukube's style.
