Oh yeah, a special roar, and thundering spluttering/squirting noises, for when he cums all over everwhere. Satisfied? Lulz.

Godzilla 2000's roar remixed with Shodaigoji roar and lion roar.

One of the few things the Millennium series did well was Godzilla's roar. It was the classic Godzilla roar known and loved around the world, but added various grunts and growls in it that really made it sound like a real animal and kept it fresh.

I know the popular response is "I want the roar from G1985-91 because it's so evil/dark/powerful!"...but sorry, that roar lacked variety and got old/repetitive after awhile. LP needs to just stick to the classic roar, but mix it up once and awhile and throw in the G85-91 cries...

I would also like to see some of the unique variations of the classic roars we heard from the early Showa series (KKvsG, MothravsG, GTTHM, GvsMonster Zero, etc.). They were still experimenting with his roar during this time, so we heard lots of cool, unique variations. We haven't heard some of those variations for awhile in any of the later films...

Though highly unlikely, I'd like it to resemble something like Godzilla's roar from Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.

If you happen to notice, it's not as high pitched as his roars from Vs. Mothra to Vs. SpaceGodzilla. It's been toned down a notch. Also the roar was mixed in with the '54 roar as well giving it a deep throaty groan when angered, or sad. The roar gets high pitched when he's surprised, or injured. Then there is a sweet combination for both when he challenges a foe. I found the '95 roar to be a perfect balance between the '54, and the traditional Godzilla roar. It's recognizable, as well as haunting at times.

I like the Millennium roar, which has become quite distinct over the years, but my favorite overall is the '95 roar.

Now that you've mentioned it, I'm definitely going with what you said. A lot of folks complain about the Godzilla roar used in Mothra all the way to Spacegodzilla, saying it's sounds too high pitched almost like in the later Showa movies. Whereas in Godzilla vs Destoroyah, his roar has a much deeper tone, making him sound more colossal and more threatening. So yeah, I would like to hear this roar again.

I never liked the Millennium Godzilla roars. If anything they could reuse the GINO roars, I liked those. The early Heisei roars would be great too.

This. The Millenium roars where too overused.

The millennium roars I thought were pretty good. Though I'm probably going to go with the Heisei roars, either the one used in 1984-1991, or the the roar used in 1995 were it was the later Heisei roar, but it was toned down a notch to sound more intimidating.

I know this has been linked already, but I can't endorse it heartily enough.

It's a masterpiece of sound design—no other roar conveys such a sense of dread. Its sheer immensity is absolutely chilling... For me, it conjures up visions of a ragged throat tearing itself apart, as well as the hulls of fishing boats scraping against each other. It's just so beyond anything a mortal animal might produce, which fits with the fact that Godzilla is a true god of destruction in that movie. The Ootojima islanders worship him, which is a detail that's sadly disappeared from subsequent Godzilla movies. How could people NOT worship a creature like him? I'd like to see that explored.

Anyway, re-record it for better sound quality if you must, but aim for 1954.

Agreed, the 54 roars are downright horrifying and I'd love to hear them again (the 84-89 roar is just one of many sounds made by 54 Goji).

I agree, bring back the '54 roars. Or at least something along the '55 or '84 roars.

I'm fond of the '62 roars considerably. I also just really love the entire '62 incarnation as a whole.

-_- Yes he did - once when he busts through the high tension wires, and another time when he finds the birds in the cage (there's one or two other occurences as well). It's also in the YouTube clip that Wrinkledlion posted.

@TV - Yeah I watched KKvsG for the first time in a while last night, man those roars are great (there's even a brief 84-ish roar when he's getting bombarded by missiles in the water).

There is a difference between Godzilla using certain roars, and him using roars that sound like certain roars. He never used the (1984-1991) roars.
