I can definitely see GvK being moved up. Especially considering WW84 is 2 weeks after it and I don't think WB would want two of its biggest movies being released that close together. Then again, WW84 could be the one that moves. A lot can happen between now and then.

After Aquaman's success, I doubt WB will want to mess with their DC films more than the MonsterVerse.

I believe the G14 release date remained the same in the long run (not counting the original intent of being released in 2012, as that's what they were aiming for but never established a release date).

KSI was announced for November 4, 2016, but then was pushed back to March 10, 2017.

Which was a good call on Legendary's part. It would had endured competition with Doctor Strange (Releasing on the same day), Moana, Arrival and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them which would had probably prove to be bigger competition then Logan and BatB were.

November would had been a very terrible time honestly...

Competition it'll endure if it doesn't move is A Stupid Place 2, Maleficent 2 and Wonder Woman 1984 (Comes out early June and two weeks after Godzilla vs. Kong comes out). A part of me actually kind of hopes they move it where there will be less competition...

Honestly? I'm kind of all for it. A push back to avoid any (serious) competition and some breathing room for KOTM would be nice.

I feel like it could probably benefit a pushback too. But I think it’s fine where it is, solely because this Spongebob doom and gloom is gonna be really funny to read through.

Filming in a location has nothing to do with where the movie itself takes place. G14 filmed parts in Vancouver. Nothing in the movie took place in Vancouver.

I agree. It should start in Skull Island, Stay in New York, and end in Tokyo. It just seems right and respectful of the lore that's come before it.
