do you guys see any possibility of this? if they did decide to go forward with it they would definitely have to scale up Kong big time.

If Skull Island is really moving to Warner Bros. I can't think of a reason for it OTHER than to eventually do King Kong vs. Godzilla. And that could be pretty damn cool.

I totally believe they're trying to make this happen. Whether it comes to fruition or not is the question, but I'm crossing my fingers!

Toho probably said no UNLESS WB and LP were making it, not Universal.

I just hope this isn't what G2 is turning into. Hopefully this is planned for after that.

So stupid. The size difference is too large and even if Kong somehow increased 10 times in size it still wouldn't be a fair fight

As much as I'd LOVE a modern King Kong vs. Godzilla even just for the battle, i can't picture it being done by warner bros/legendary as a motion picture. Especially with the direction they seem to be taking for this new franchise. It would change the tone of the series the same way 62 kkvg did for the showa, turning away from the dark tone to the silly but fun monster bashes. And that isn't to say that made the series worse, id be all for it but i don't see it being done properly as part of the legendary universe. If this was a non-canon movie or so then it would make more sense. We'll see
