Godzilla 2014 Japanese Blu Ray set

Anybody here pick this up? Any deleted scenes or interesting special features that weren't on the American BluRay? I'd love to get it but average price last I checked on ebay was around $200 which is a bit out of my budget this month, we'll see (red Monster Arts figue it includes looks amazing). Thanks, those extra features sound great. Only problem is region lock and probably no subtitles on the interviews I'm guessing.

The US release was trash compared to other countries releases. An extended cut would be gold if it happened.

Yeah. The American home video releases are pathetic. It's funny how a decade after the mainstream boom of special features on LotR and other such DVD titles that now they restrict those features to blu-ray, and then don't include half of them because they know there'll be some trilogy box set down the line they can include them on and make more money. Selfish transparent assholes. They are sucking hard on that long-term-merchandising-strategy teat.

I don't own Godzilla 2014. And I probably won't purchase a copy until they decide to include the 10-second Takarada cameo they cheated us out of. Really? That had to be cut for flow and timing? Please. Condescension is a bad color on them.

which reminds me, isnt it about time they release a 2nd revision of the bluray with MORE features now? ill be so dissapointed if they never do release takarada's deleted footage, like Gareth promised us

Does anyone here have the set? Wondering if the video transfer is better than the U.S. BluRay.

Edit: I'm going to try to order the set somehow through Amazon this week. Even though I don't have a region free player I'm sure that I will eventually figure some kind of region free option and this set and the figure are too good to pass up as collectibles.
