what if Ghidorah is a creature that is higher on the food chain than Godzilla, because considering that in the Legendary universe, Godzilla and MUTO (soon Rodan and Mothra) are the only ones who have been discovered so far and people know about nothing of the environment that the creatures are used to or who existed with them and in other films it requires multiple kaiju to defeat him I would imagine Ghidorah is, not the alpha predator but one of the top predators

i don't want Ghidorah to be a part of the natural order. i want it to be an unnatural monstrosity that doesn't belong here.

We were never given deep back stories for LegenGoji or the MUTOs, so I don't expect a lengthy one for Ghidorah or the other kaiju.

I've noticed, kids these days want EVERYTHING explained to them. Back in my day, we had things called "mystery", and that made things more fun!

That's what I loved about the older Godzilla films. Hardly any of the of monsters had a deep back story. Godzilla was said to be a prehistoric creature, nothing specific. Not a T. Rex fused with a Steggy, and certainly not a Godzillasaurus (I really hate that concept from the Heisei era), just a prehistoric beast. Mystery is indeed much more fun, brings in the speculations.

for the legendary series, not necessarily (considering that creatures of this size are both physically and biologically impossible to live on earth). for the toho series, I could say otherwise
