As for Watanabe returning, many returning cast members don't get confirmed by trades for some reason. Charlie Day and Burn Gorman were not "confirmed" for Uprising until set photos revealed them a couple of months into filming.

Still too early for composer announcements if you ask me. That said I wouldn't mind John Powell. I like his Bourne scores fairly well. Still I don't know if he's ever done anything for a film of this scale before.

From what I just read it seems Powell and Gregson-Williams have collaborated a lot in the past. They both do a lot of work under Hans Zimmer. That does lend some credence to this news. Still it's way to early to tell. Composers usually aren't announced until after filming is already completed.

I took it as you were saying it depended on the set designer you listed. Lol.

If what people have said is true, that Legendary/WB look at message boards, comment sections on articles about their films, Facebook, etc., then I dot think it would be a bad idea to make it known we (at least I think most fans) would like some of the classical scores included in the movie, even if shoehorned in.
