Which environment and time do you think the new movie should take place?

Dude it's not a video game, odds are likely that the whole movie will be more then one day and night.

Yeah but having rain or even thunder would be a good effect.

Well I would like to see night time with rain but odds are likely the whole film will be more then one day so for all we know there could be one fight on a bright sunny day and then the next on a rain day.

Maybe he means the start of the film.

Personally, I like Godzilla attacking during a hurricane like in the original film, not only is it a good refrence, it'd be omnious.

I think the first setting should be a clear night. The climax should take place during afternoon and cross into the night, with a rainstorm.

They did a rainly day setting in G98, and I doubt they will do it again.

Good point. Unlike films like GTSOS this one is going to get a nation wide release on the big screen here in the US so they probably would avoid using a lot of rain as one of their many means to distance this film from D&E's puke fest.

I don't want to see rain in the movie unless it's for a short moment. The one thing I hated about G98 was the setting was so boring, so much rain...Ugh.

Final battle needs to take place at night, then have Godzilla wade off in the distance as the sun comes out. FIN.

Uh... Rain is a natural occurrence on the planet right? Okay, so I don't see any problem. If they want to use some epic rain at some point in the movie... fine by me. As has been said before the plot will surely span at least several days. So there will be various weather conditions.

May I ask why there is no "clear and night" option in the poll?

Guess I forgot to add that but consider sunny day a normal day.

Could've fooled me.

Dude, chances are, the time frame of the movie will include more than one place, possibly even more than one weather pattern. You'd be limiting the scope of the film too much to say it should be just "rainy and dark" throughout the film. It's not Alien or some suspense-horror film where the action will only take place in one isolated selection of city.
89 Days and Counting.
