Just realized that we never got to see how Ford and the Japanese boy got out of the subway train unharmed. God damn, every mark against this film kills me.

The light machine guns used by the soldiers in San Francisco are Daewoo K3's. However, the US military doesn't use the K3; they use the M249. The Daewoo K3 is primarily for South Korean and Philippine armed forces.

A firework/explosive-like object, which is being drowned by gas from the damaged truck. And as you can see there is a tiny fire on the right side, which causes that bigger kaboom.

As Godzilla kills the Male MUTO with his tail, the MUTO's arm literally fall off.

Godzilla also dislocates the female's lower jaw when he forces her mouth open. It's visible when the breath travels down her throat.

very very bad rotoscoping on the effects shot after the misssile hits the bridge and the scene where you see soldiers running to the railing of the briodge right before godzilla's spikes rise up to stop the missiles, it is especially apparent on the middle soldier on that scene, it is so bad, you actually see part of the soldiers pants morph and grow onto him because the rotoscoping job was horrid. reminds me of the 98 effects shot where the soldeiers are running and another soldier magically appears because of bad rotoscoping.

That kind of bothered me. It would've been better if he said "large dinosaur" instead of "large lizard," at least, in my opinion.

The scene where the male Muto attacks the train in hawaii, the people who fall out survive and run toward the airport in the next scene.

The coordination of muto tag team against Godzilla. One on one, Godzilla would a destroy them but an attack from behind by male muto and a quick flanking manevour by the femuto allow them to turn the battle around.

Yeah, basically. The M249 is-or at least was-hard to aquire by movie armorers, but the K3 wasn't as hard to get, so they show up a lot.

OT: Noticing the news reports at the end said something to the effect of "Fallout from offshore detonation deemed to be minimal".

1. The caterpillar/butterfly named Mothra
2. After Goji kills the male, you can see the male's head in the background
3. As the building falls, you can barely see the male's wings fall too.
4. When Ford is trying to turn on the boat, you can see Godzilla and the male fighting
5. As Ford is going to Honolulu, the "Godzilla! or Last Shot" track plays
@LazerWhale: How? I don't see anything that indicates a dislocated jaw.
