Official Godzilla Novelization Thread

I didn't see a thread to discuss the novelization for Godzilla so I figured why not!

Novelizations are usually based on the screenplay for a movie so they contain material that may have been filmed but cut during editing.

Have you read the Godzilla Novelization? What did you like or not like about it? Does it change your views on the film?

I'll note 2 things-
It actually goes into detail the first battle between Godzilla and Flying MUTO
Joe Brody actually gets a military funeral on the navy ship

A lot of stuff can be merged into appropriate threads

Especially now since people will be coming here to look for news and upsdates on Godzilla 2 we will need to make it easier on them so they don't get caught looking for news in discussions

Maybe a mod can create a Godzilla 2 News and Updates sticky for everyone to post news they find? I think that would be incredibly helpful!

I loved the book, and personally thought it was better than the movie.
