I've seen this image in several places, but don't remember it from the movie. Was it simply in a trailer and cut later?

I always thought it was high quality concept art, but just found a gif of this on tumblr.

Awesome, thanks Chris! I'm trying to get the highest resolution copies of every picture I can find from this movie.

I've read people say the shot below was 3D art but this confirms it's a production still, like a still of Godzilla chasing the muto away from Hawaii from the footage put together for the newscast.

Did they happen to send you any of these in that high res?

Not from WB. I'll have to go outside for these. As long as I have a point of origin, I should be fine.

The 2nd was posted by Entertainment Weekly, they also published the crashing through the Golden Gate shot that eventual was released as high res press shot. No idea where the origin of the third is.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures. I especially like the third one Chris posted. I don't remember seeing that scene either -- after watching the movie twice, you'd think I would recognize all of these shots.

This movie has probably the most amazing visual moments in any Godzilla film. There are so many great stills I got from the trailers and shots put out official like Chris has, I've never found that many great looking moments in the other films and I have a lot of pics from the '84 movie. The combination of Godzilla's design and Gareth's sense for visuals just really amounted to a great visual feast.
