One source is an anomaly, two could be a coincidence, three is a pattern. Not quite ready to buy that we're getting a full-fledged trilogy yet.

Godzilla's been a massive success at the box office. I see no reason why WB wouldn't want to get as much money as they possibly could out of the franchise.

Sure, but that just makes the trilogy rumors "very sensible hearsay" instead of just "hearsay."
