I liked everything from the HALO jump to the end. I wish we could've seen more Godzilla scenes like this, especially in the airport scene, but it was epic regardless.

So much good scenes in the earlier acts, but from the HALO jump on it was just BRILLIANT!

The Mutos first meeting. That was an excellent moment to show that these weren't evil creatures out for blood. They just wanted to mate and continue the species. I feel like that really gave them some depth.

Godzilla charging (and using) his fire breath. Whole theater erupted in applause when that happened.

Honorable mention goes to the scene where Mr. MUTO nuzzles up against Ms. MUTO. Was pretty heartwarming, in a "the world is now screwed" kind of way.

I loved the scene of Godzilla walking back to the water at the end. Not mindlessly destroying stuff, just the Lone warrior after restoring balance. It was just the " yeah it's back to BAU, now leave me alone and let me sleep" pose. It's obvious the atomic blasts took a lot out of him and someone back earlier theorized this would be the case. Spot on! If he feeds on radiation and stores it for survival, it's completely realistic that using it in battle would weaken him. Loved the realistic take on that! Can't wait for the hype train on the sequel to start rolling !

The separation between Sandra and Joe, Joe confronting Ford about facing the truth, Serizawa giving the general his pocket watch, Joe and his military friend being stalked by the Muto on the bridge, Sam watching the news, both phone conversations between Ford and Elle, Serizawa starring silently at the knocked down Godzilla, Ford collapsing as Godzilla does, Joe's death, "are you still going to be here tomorrow?". Wait, I almost forgot to talk about the monsters and I've only seen this film once.

The scene where the female Muto gets a mouthful.

the airport/tsunami - saw it at wondercon, still awesome
golden gate attack - living in sf, that was amazing to see
HALO jump - dat "requiem"...
the shot of godzills's silhouette in the lightning - the silence of that scene made godzilla coming out of that smoke look really intimidating
the final battle - need I say more?
godzilla going back into the ocean - need I say more?

-FATALITY
-Godzilla giving the little folks (kick ass and ken Watanabe) the eye. The moment when you realised this Godzilla is not just computer generated plot device, he is alive.
-Muto Courtship
-Godzilla strolling back into the ocean.
- Hawaii tease, it is a well executed introduction and i was hyped as hyped can be.

I just LOVE the Muto hatching scene. Eeery as hell when it crawls out of the cage and you see weee little Ford standing there. Amazing.

Ahh Fuck it. EVERY Godzilla & Muto scene. Elizabeth Olson is hott as hell to so everytime shes on screen.
