Kaiju Easter eggs

I'm directing this message to anyone that currently HAS seen the film. IGN mentioned that the film has several Easter eggs for previous kaiju films. Would it be possible to have a list of films that seem to be referenced in the new movie?
I wouldn't want any spoilers for the film itself, but as I plan to re-watch a few classics this week I thought it might help me focus my viewing material. I'm particularly interested in any non-Godzilla films that are referenced.

Godzilla fights an enemy named "Rodan" in this movie. There are also two twins standing in a building which are direct references to Mothra's involvement.

My original intention behind this thread was to post the names of the original films rather than the scenes in the new film. That way we still have the fun of spotting the Easter eggs...

Max Borenstein said that the name of a boat later in the movie has another reference. He mentioned it in the Nerdist interview.
