Ah man, I'm starting to get excited now. If the movie is as good as the cast and crew are suggesting it is, we're in for a really great film....

After reading that, I'm thinking that they should have named Watanabe's character after Dr. Yamane instead of Serizawa.

^Either one would have still been better than had they stuck with Dr. Honda.
As in Dr. Ishiro Honda.

But yeah, for some time I've been getting more of a Yamane vibe from Watanabe's character too, but Serizawa still works for me.

And I'm certain that the only reason they changed that was because the average American doesn't know who Honda was, and would have associated the name with the auto company.

Of course, the average American doesn't know who Serizawa was either, but it won't conjure up any distracting associations like Honda will...

I was thinking of reading this while eating (reading while eating is something I'm fond of) but then I realized it had spoilers, so I guess I'll read it after I watch it. I was wondering where people on Facebook where getting the San Francisco shot.

I don't think that's a big deal. The article itself has the warning right at the top.
