Godzilla's height

Post by darthzilla99 »

So I read someone comment somewhere that they wanted him to be 50 to 80 meters tall and thought "You know that's not been discussed" so I thought to add it.

I say 100 meters. I want him to be big and since this will be cgi, there will not be problems of minature detail that the post biollante hesei movies had.
GVK: TNE is a modern day 70s Showa Godzilla movie. Being a massive budget modern blockbuster CGI film instead of traditional 70s tokusatsu techniques doesn't change that.

Monsterverse is not similar to either MCU nor Bayformers just because all three are big budget CGI blockbuster franchises.

Around 50 meters is ideal for me. I prefer it to be more feasible for him to recognize and even interact with humans.

One of the reasons I prefer to see a retro styled film is because of his height. I like Godzilla around 50-60 meters.
With modern day buildings being as big & tall as they are, you need Godzilla to be at least 100+ meters tall, and then everything like - people, cars, houses, the military seems too small.

I'd prefer a height of least 100 meters. I'd even be happier if they made MORE than 200 meters in height; in order to give him a sense of sheer power. If he's around 50-60 meters, the majority of metropolitan buildings would dwarf him.

Don't try to be something else. Don't try to be less. Great things are going to happen in your life. Great things. And with that will come great responsibility.

I would like him to be 50 meters high. That is the most realistic choice for me.

50-60 meters works just fine. The important thing is that he's a giant monster.

I don't think it really matters. But I'd prefer him to be in the hundred meter zone.

I would hate to see a 50 meters godzilla in the middle of a big metropolis with 200 meters tall buildings.

I hope that he is at least 70-90 meters tall. However, I wouldn't complain if he were placed at 100 meters, simply because it would make him a daunting foe.

100 or even a bit more. He needs to be as imposing as possible.

80 meters that was a good height for him or 100 because that seems like his new height in the public eye.

I would have to say 100 meters. If they are going to make him a big unstoppable juggernaut of destruction, I would hope he is tall so he lumbers over everything that gets in his way. This would help make him an opposing figure. However I’m up for him being taller than 100 meters like maybe 200 meters because this would fit perfect with all the tall modern day buildings. This would then allow the tallest buildings would tower over him, but not to the point where he is dwarfed by them, thus not making him less intimidating.
