The look of the breath, and burning through the female, leads me to think that it's definitely an incendiary type. Much like the older breath types.

Re: Godzilla 2014 Spoiler Thread
Just for fun, I decided to use a site that simulates the effects of various nuclear detonations to see what would have happened at the end of the movie. Obviously I can't be sure of where, exactly, the bomb went off at the end of the film, but I feel like this is pretty close. This is using the current most powerful ICBM warhead in the US arsenal:
So yeah.
So yeah.
In my opinion, of course.

Re: Godzilla 2014 Spoiler Thread
That kind of surprised me too. Maybe they figured smashing though the Golden Gate was enough damage to landmarks, but its not like the bridge was totally destroyed. It would have been nice if the TransAmerica building had gotten knocked down too.I wonder why the Transamerica pyramid was not destroyed.
Also, why is the Transamerica building not created in the destruction sets?

Something tells me that they needed to contact the creators of the building and pay them an amount to destroy it on film.I wonder why the Transamerica pyramid was not destroyed.
Also, why is the Transamerica building not created in the destruction sets?

Are you talking about footprints? Because Toho Godzilla has left plenty of those...There still one more queston; Why did Zilla leave craters on the ground but not Toho Godzilla? WTF?!

Re: Godzilla 2014 Spoiler Thread
Now that I think about it, what was the landmark that was supposed to be destroyed in PR but was held for Godzilla?

Re: Godzilla 2014 Spoiler Thread
Good question. My guess would be that it was Alcatraz, but using Alcatraz seems to have been an idea that was scrapped during pre-production.
In my opinion, of course.

It obviously wasn't the bridge... Maybe it was the transamerica building? What if it was cut from the final film cut and is a deleted sceneHannibalBarca wrote:Good question. Re: Godzilla 2014 Spoiler Thread
While the geography of landmarks never seems to be a major concern with disaster movies, from what I can make of google maps, the TA building seems to be well to the east of where Godzilla and the MUTOs were presumably fighting, just south of the Marina district.
In my opinion, of course.
