My thoughts are the same as zillabeast on the leaked picture. To illustrate my point (literally) I made a drawing of the silhouette pic and applied the facial characteristics of the artwork and they just seem to fit together perfectly. Also added a body :)

Nice attempt AWM. The sketch is good but it doesn't have the detail that I see from the still image from LPG. The official Godzilla design appears way more bulky especially in the neck area starting from underneith the chin. Also the dorsal fins should look more deformed rather than neatly organized or millenium style. Nice take though.

Thanks. As far as the neck size, I have the same thoughts as Cimmerian Dragon on the top of page 131 of this thread, I don't think the neck is as thick as it seems. The fins are really up in the air as far as the look, we don't see much of them, and it is hard to tell what angle we are seeing Godzilla at (that goes for the head itself too) so I just went with the fins of the artwork. Its all just speculation, just trying to apply a design to the silhouette :)

As an artist myself that is some good work. I don't know how close to the finished design it will be but I think your design is pretty good!

It's still got the classic maple leaf spines but updates them. I like that. Oh and rest of the body is cool too.

you've done a terrific job here and I'd be stoked if this was the new design
The dead animals in KOM are a result of high powered signals sent from aliens,to awaken the dormant monsters. Animals with similar senses are overloaded from the signal &drop dead. That way much of the world will be destroyed in prep for the invasion.

Nice sketch. Might not even be far off.

I'd sure like to find out, though. Let us see a working design and see how fans react, then re-work it if need be.

Damn, AWM. That looks really good. Definitely a nice attempt at figuring out Legendary's design. I'd be thrilled if the actual design turns out to look like that.

This is very good.

Immediately recognizable, highly detailed and it has the right amount of bulk. It is very powerful looking, but it still looks like it could move if it wanted to.

I really like the throat bulge, somehow it adds a lot of character and charm :)

I would be happy with this.

Hell I would be happy with anything remotely close to any Godzilla design, as look as he's in a screen I'm skreeonk happy.

Just no Gino.

I just hope Godzilla looks more Toho-ish than anything else, but meaner and more menacing. I want Godzilla to look like something that even other monsters would be scared of. I'm talking big, sharp teeth, evil looking eyes, sharp dorsal spines, pointy "demon" ears, fourth toe, long tail, slight hunch (but not lateral like GINO), the whole shibang. I want a Godzilla that screams "___ you!" in it's design, attitude and edge.
