^ The back fins are a tad too large.

Other than that, I like it.

^ I like that one a lot too. If Matt toned down the segmentation on Godzilla's body so that it wasn't as clearly delineated, I think that would be a great design.

No thank you. Aside from the exaggerated back fins, that looks way too much like GINO for my liking. Just something about it turns me off.

The exaggerated fins work in a different medium, like comics.

In film, unless done subdued enough with CGI, it won't work.

Here's an earlier, slightly less Zilla-esque version of Matt's Godzilla and an earlier version of the monster we planned for him to fight:

Sorry about the bad quality, this was a very rough, old picture.

Personally, I'd like to see something like this in the film, minus the scars, with better proportions and with a different head:

I've said it earlier in this thread but I like this design - http://www.kaijukits.com/library/shinze ... 05/g05.htm
Couple slight tweaks here and there and I'd be perfectly happy with it and think it'd work well in the movie.

^ That suit actually looks good. Give him some changes to the spines, face and such.

Looks a little too much like the Final Wars Godzilla for my tastes, but it'd be ok.

It looks more like the Heisei design without all the bulk.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

The face and crotch/legs still look a lot like FW Goji to me.

I figured with it being a not-so-radical design that it could work well in the movie. And this kit looks waaay better than the GFW suit looked.
I also find the Atelier/Honey Bones model to be really great. http://www.kaijukits.com/library/honeyb ... a_1954.htm But that's a bit too extreme for some people.
As long as it looks and acts like Godzilla I'll be happy. What I'm more concerned about is how I'm going to get to be in the movie. :P

^I've seen it a hundred times, but that Honey-Bones design still blows my mind. For me, it's perfect. If you gave him some irises I don't even think he'd look all that "evil", so it could still work if he turns "heroic"...

I agree with Stuckey:

Image

Give it a tiny bit more bulk, bigger spines and a slightly shorter snout and that's skreeonk prime. The actual FW suit doesn't even compare IMO.

The face looks more like SOS Kiryu-Goji (check out my avatar for reference).

I actually wouldnt mind that design, just make the spines bigger and it works great for me

True, it's better than the actual suit. More bulk... maybe bigger dorsal fins.

Though, do you guys think they'll stay close to pre-existing Godzilla suits or try to make one that stands out as a fresh start in the way that G2k, G'84, or Bio-Goji did?

That a good question Jomei, they just might try to do with a whole new suit for a new generation. But all depends if Toho will approve the design.

I hope they start out with something fresh, something we havent seen before.
