Thanks.

Did he have any connection to the Godzilla films?

Nope. Other then that it was Minya, there wasn't any extended connection to the film series. The same show also used Gorosaurus, the Gargantuas, and Gabara also.

I kinda like this... The legs are too skinny, but it's a neat design over all. I like the plates alot, they remind me of the 62 suit.

Seriously it's not terrible, but I dislike the lack of a neck.

I like the idea of it. Something I'd like to see more concept art of and see what directions you could take it.

I personally like it. Kind of a brawler feel to it, if you ask me.

I was curious to see what the neck would look like thinner and his snout smaller so I goofed around with Liquify in Photoshop...

I think that is his natural standing position pictures, at most the head and neck would come up a bit more, but he'd still be largely vertical.

Not that I'd mind that, I don't care if he stands up right or not, if anything it'd be a chance to get away from the humanoid constraints of the suit.

But the humanoid stance is part of what makes Godzilla GODZILLA.

I disagree, I think he could be reimagined without it easily.

As long as it is not an ultrarealsitic stance (& not the GINO stance) then I'm all for this of Godzilla not having a humanoid stance
