Has anyone else been noticing that the news of the rejected concept arts from long ago are surfacing?

Seems a bit odd that most of the people who have encountered it recently find it all to be new news. Just seems a bit off putting when it has been out for many months. o.o

Granted, they mostly don't know G-Fan, or aren't apart of the G-community, still to only find out now just seems off to me for some reason.

I see where you're coming from, I find it annoying when other sites and blogs are only now discovering shit we at TK already knew about months ago and making a big deal out of it.

I don't expect them to keep abreast of these developments, but actually acknowledging the fact that this shit is common knowledge might be nice. The only part of it that irritates me is making out like you've uncovered a big "scoop" when all you've done is stumbled over a few old Google nuggets.

I think the worst thing is when they find a rumor that we already saw months ago and quickly deduced as nothing but a rumor (READ: False Info) and they think it's legit info.

Because then little kids and naive people who don't know any better sign up on here and act like it's fact and we have to tell them that "no there will be no Bagan and the monsters are gonna be CGI, and no the film isn't coming out this summer".

Exactly. There are some who are so impatient in regards to hearing news about this that they'll believe anything they hear.

Excuse me. Its rumor.

Damn British English.

And Bagan Rumors come with every Godzilla movie. I learned to ignore it.

Oh don't worry, we still have at least 5 or so more years of this before the film comes out.

I would like to see Bagan in a film someday, but not this one. Maybe have him show up in future games as a boss or even playable fighter.

There you go! I don't want a Godzilla that looks like he was shit out of a crevice in Mordor.

I always wondered why, in the movies at least, the Orcs and Uruks grew in big placenta sacs in the ground.

Anyway, I do like the Always 2 design, and the model used was tweaked a bit in the computer so the final design does differ slightly.

On the contrary I like the face, especially the constant snarl it seems to have (atleast the one used in the film did)

It's a neat design, although perhaps a bit over the top. Cimmerian Dragon also posted this in the 'Rejected Godzilla Concept Art' thread.

I wrote:I like it too. It's a 1954-based Godzilla kit, released by Honey Bones, and later by Atlier G-1.

Actually, a slightly over-the-top design might work for an American film.

Not gonna lie, for a split second when I opened the page the gold made me think someone did a photoshop pic of Godzilla with the Bat Utility Belt.
