Hm, actually that would look pretty wicked if he just had slightly bigger arms and held them in a more humanoid way.

That seems to ruin the entire theme of the design.

I don't know, but it's certainly the vibe in terms of stance I'd like to see.

Personally, I think Godzilla should stand fully upright.

Also, got another pic of a Godzilla design I did:

A better look at this model. It has different spines, which I think look better on it.

I dunno, they just seem... inadequate the way they are now. Almost useless.

If we were keeping with the theme of this Godzilla, he'd behave in a more animalistic way. He'd fight more with his mouth and his hind leg claws. His arms would be used for holding prey in place other than swiping.

It would have to be some close-range, low-powered swiping. I like the saurian look but the arms take it a little too far.

I think the more saurian body would work better for something like Gorosaurus, a monster that was always depicted with arms with limited mobility. Maybe make the claws heavier and put a bit more muscle in the arms. If we go by the dinosaur books then the wrists would be positioned the wrong way anyhow and the beast would be stuck with arms meant for grasping from the sides.
The second set of spines does make the design look better as a Godzilla type monster though.

I like the flat footed model better for Godzilla though, it's arms with a humanoid dexterity and heavy feet to anchor it while the powerful neck and jaws balances the anthropomorphism with adequate saurian features. Plus I like anything that makes the tiny ears work out with the huge jaws.

Those aren't the LPG designs, there just fan designs.

Just saying that so to prevent rumors.

I hate that stubby-ass face. He looks like a pig or something to me.

How 'bout an ork?

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's a model of Kiryu-Goji. I like it as well, though.

There you go! I don't want a Godzilla that looks like he was shit out of a crevice in Mordor.

I love that Millennium model. it's like someone shaved off that weird cobra hood from the Kiryu-suit and fixed the head. It's a fantastic default "millennium" look.

But I do really have a great fondness for the Always 2 suit. It's got a nice contained simplicity to it and I really do prefer Godzilla with a stubby nose. Making him look vaguely reminiscent of a mammal or a salamander instead of some big dinosaur head feels more important for an amphibious dinosaur with ears.

Seems a bit odd that most of the people who have encountered it recently find it all to be new news. Just seems a bit off putting when it has been out for many months. o.o

Granted, they mostly don't know G-Fan, or aren't apart of the G-community, still to only find out now just seems off to me for some reason.

I see where you're coming from, I find it annoying when other sites and blogs are only now discovering shit we at TK already knew about months ago and making a big deal out of it.
