Like I kind of said, it looks more like a prototype than a final product; and yeah, it looks more 'dinosaur' than 'Gojira'.

That works as a Godzillasaurus design. Now how about a Godzilla?

^My thoughts exactly. Cool design, though.

This is why basing Godzilla off of dinosaur anatomy fails. We're conditioned to recognize Godzilla as having a human figure with a monster head and tails.

As a Godzillasaurus I think it looks great. But Godzilla is more than a dinosaur with fins. Godzilla is probably the only dinosaur to have pectoral muscles and knee caps.

How about make Godzilla look like the one from the british poster of the first movie?

That poster contains equal amounts of win and fail^

Personally, I think Godzilla should stand fully upright.

Also, got another pic of a Godzilla design I did:

Isn't that an early design for the Godzilla 2000 version?

It always reminds me of the model used to create the CGI Godzilla in Always 2.

A better look at this model. It has different spines, which I think look better on it.

He very much looks like a dinosaur but retains his qualities, I feel.

Hm, actually that would look pretty wicked if he just had slightly bigger arms and held them in a more humanoid way.

That seems to ruin the entire theme of the design.
