I can imagine a cloud of nuclear steam and smoke rising from his body especially at times of rage, and for ash to rain down from his underside, as pulses of atomic energy ripple across his doral fins, his chest still unable to fully come to terms with the massive quantities of power within. He should be muscularly defined across the shoulders, chest and neck, and maybe have bony protrusions around the shoulders making their way down the back of the biceps towards the elbows. These and the back fins should definitely appear to be something new that sprouted forth as a direct result of rampant mutation, characterising this behemoth as the literal harbinger of radioactive doom!!

For personality I's like to see something feral and wracked with a combination of rage and utter agony; the blast was literally excruiciating for Godzilla, and the mutation still has't settled, causing untold amounts of pain. In fact it still hasn't finished, and his bones I'm sure are still creaking and cracking. There is simply nothing more ferocious than a wounded animal, and I can see Godzilla taking that to a new level; his motivation being the search for whatever 'creature' that could have caused him that level of pain, to humble him in such a way as to scar him forever!!

He'd sense life forms in the cities, mistaking the massive collection of human essences as one large being, and would be confused as he gets closer to find what he's sensing is actually a large concentration of lesser, hardly registering, beings. This only serves to anger the great leviathon further as he tears about these towering structures before him, unable to fathom where his attacker could be, never once attributing the atomic blast to these tiny, insignificant creatures below...

Well, that's my take anyway...

That, sounds totally bad ass IMO...

Funny thing is that I was listening to their first album when I was visualising this idea, so quite accurate description there!! Still, minus the fringe I still like my idea...

Yeah I saw that image a few days back; It's a cool intepretation, though for what I'm thinking I'm not sure about the missing clumps of flesh so much as just burned and scarred. Marvel Zombies has a future with Toho Zombies if that's anything to go by; I can see it now...

While we're at it; I made my own intepretation of what a modern Godzilla with Shodai-Gojis influence could look.
Of course the feet are a bit too fat and he lacks fine details because I'm lazy.

And Mothra agrees with the whole "brotherhood of man" and "even the bad deserve to live" equality thing because she's a lefty... Specifically a COMMUNIST! So THAT'S why the juice was red!

I wonder if we'll see any official Godzilla model any time soon. I'm still tickled by the fact that the first Godzilla film in ages is going to be done by Americans and not by Toho. I don't know whether to be worried or intrigued.
I like shows where Japanese folks change into spandex clad heroes and fight rubber suits.

Ah, she must have let her power go to her head. Much like Stalin.
