In the world of internet, anonymity is a strength. Hinting at things wouldn't be half bad. Like if they still plan on 2012 release or later. Information that nobodies nuts would get torn off for being leaked. Is this forum really under that much scrutiny from the world of Toho/WB/Legendary?

God, if I knew you guys would be so gullible to believe anyone with any sort of connection to this project was a member on a random Godzilla message board I would have started this right from the beginning.

Nobody on this board has any secret information. Nobody on this board is at all affiliated with this project. The only people who do are the ones who leak shit onto the internet like script drafts and promo art. Otherwise, they're just a loser who gets off on idiots falling for empty hunches. Get real, you guys.

Chris55, or Chris Mirjahangir, worked in Hollywood at one point, for Paramount. He's got a fair amount of connections in Hollywood still and was the original leak for the Legendary project. He knows a fair amount about the project; probably more than he leads on.

Why the hell are you ALWAYS so god damn negative? seriously. Everytime you sign on, you post something insulting or just plain rude.

Chris is an in the know guy. I talk to him alot. I never claimed to know alot of super cool secrets. I have heard info. but am not able to discuss it. Chris knows MUCH more then I do.

It's amusing to watch a know-it-all know absolutely nothing about what he's talking about, ain't it?

Yep! I read your post all the time. BURNED! HOLD DAT!

On topic: I'm really interested in how Godzilla will look. I'm hoping for something evil-ish like GMK but without the gut. I'm also hoping the villain kaiju (if any) looks badass too. I'm hoping for Dogolas.

WHY DONT THEY USE A GUY IN A SUIT INSTEAD OF CRAPPY CGI! It better not be Godzilla (1998) again!
Japanese Man 1: RUN! IT'S GODZILLA!
Japanese Man 2: It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws - it's not.
Man 1: STILL! WE SHOULD RUN LIKE IT IS GODZILLA!
Man 2: Though it isn't.

That's thirteen years ago. CGI has evolved in that time and now is used for just about everything. Look at Avatar. Hell, look at Always: 2. The days of the suit are going down the drain, since CGI is evolving at such a terrific pace.

The CGI in the 98 movie wasn't bad. Nor is CGI in general bad. CGI in modern movies is good for creating characters or worlds that wouldn't be possible otherwise, just as any other special effect would be.

You do know that either one can be amazing when done right or really bad when done wrong right? Who cares as long as the CGI is decent and Godzilla still acts and looks like Godzilla.

Cause guys in a suit looks crappy compared to CGI? At least, when Guillermo Del Toro isn't doing it.

He hasn't been here long and probably expected everyone to agree with him - he probably didn't lurk very much, if I were to guess.

I still want Toho to continue with suits someday, though.

As long as the Effects and The Story are good...im Ok.
