Reason being is that as I've stated this is pretty close to what I saw and Godzilla1986 agreed as well. As I stated there, the only changes I'd make is the "beak" to be a little more blunt, eyes a bit bigger and more tear dropped in shape, but the head being pulled back like that does ring a bell. The body was a bit more long and "tubular" with a membrane on it's back, though they didn't seem to be wings.
The stance is close though, maybe sat a little higher up on it's legs. This thing was roughly double the height of the jumbo jet rear vertical stabilizer and Godzilla about double the creature in height....
