Might have something to do with the Mars Rover, possibly a nod to GTTHM as well. Maybe Ghidorah MIGHT be involved, perhaps even teased in the film.

Yeah, probably has no relation to Mars whatsoever (and the GTTHM reference would stem only from the US version where the Princess is overtaken by a Martian, which the mainstream public would get compared to those who've seen the JA version), and possibly has no relation to Godzilla at ALL. Then again, you never really know with those two..

I'm with Jomei. The guys seem friendly. For all we know, the two were playing Halo and some Elite did something outlandish. Or Edwards was telling Borenstein about his alien abduction theories.

Just because the two are working on Godzilla doesn't mean their entire lives revolve around it.

Just to clarify, I was merely posting some information about a tweet from the two people who hold the keys to Godzilla out there. I thought this was slightly odd though since Max does not tweet often on there and Edwards (@shootthemonster) never does. He has 0 tweets and is following no one. So why would Max tweet him such a random thought like that got my attention.

We are so starved for information on this movie, I look for things and this happened to peak my interest. It's like I said, this could be nothing at all.

I never thought that their lives revolved around the movie only, just found it interesting and wanted to share with my fellow fans.

Yep I follow both on Twitter although Mr. Edwards hasnt tweeted yet.
I say fans are encouraged to tweet to them letting them know how excited we are and that we support them 110%
I wouldnt bother asking for updates because more than likely they wont be able to say anything plus we dont want to annoy them

Having Ghidorah be Godzilla's opponent in the film would be great, but hasn't it already been distributed that the other monster is an insect?

I posted some time ago that Pacific Rim and Godzilla would be linked and this could be the link. The dead insect could be a creature from the rift that didn't survive into our dimensional time frame, although Godzilla does.

You know what I really like about Max Borenstein? He tweeted about Kaiju Combat to comply with a fans request asking him to help spread the word about the game to gain more support.

Look at the bottom, retweeted by Max Borenstein, which for the Twitter illiterate means a fan shouted him out, he saw it, and he posted it again this time to his own personal page, helping to promote the game, which is really cool.
