That's normal though, this movie is most likely not coming out til 2014 which makes sense cause they still need to get the cast together and film. The stuff at CC was just a test to show they can pull it off.

If the teaser is as cool as they say, I think there will be plenty of buzz once it or a new one gets shown to the public. The teaser seems to have silenced any skeptics at SDCC which indicates that the material has the power to interest those on the fence about Godzilla.

I only say that the hype will die down because LP doesn't seem interested in marketing this film just yet, hence the comic con exclusive treatment. If the hype for that teaser was any indication on how successful this film can be in drawing attention, then that just boosted the confidence of the producers behind it if anything. Now they can have the confidence in going forward with the project which is about freakin time.

Its got more hype now, especially with the cast, they attracted many non-Godzilla fans.

I'd say it would start happening once they rap filming...At least...That's when the real hype train get's going.

Once the teaser is released the marketing train will come full steam ahead. No point in starting major hype just yet esp when they started filming.

Besides with the cast they got, Weta now being the effects team, Edwards releasing a video on day one.. an even the Local News picked up an showed Godzilla's destruction after the first or second day of filming.

I'd say this is pretty strong hype already for a film that just started shooting.

I agree. We are getting more than I expected to get in months let alone an week.
Really don't expect very much official marketing till Comic-Con. Then viral stuff starting in Aug.-Sept. when school starts back. Just too much on everyone's plate during filming and the summer.
