Just watched a YouTube video where a fan asked Gareth if what he saw in the teaser was the final design. His reply about the look of Godzilla makes me think we won't see the teaser because it's not a final design. It's also funny how Gareth took a shot a Zilla.

There's a lot of just plan anti-woman sentiment in "nerd" culture these days. Pretty disturbing.

Just some assholes nerd raging because TDKR was just called "good" by a reviewer instead of "best movie ever". I agree these guys are assholes but I think they're overblown the "nerds are becoming assholes" thing. Assholes exist in every community no matter how open minded, it only seems like they're common because well you're gonna hear people bitch about them and never hear anything about the decent ones. Really I think the ones making death threats are just a small part of the fanbase who happen to be many times way too vocal compared to the rest of the fanbase.

I guess it just depends who you know and hang out with, all my IRL nerdy friends may be disappointed if they're movie does poorly or doesn't get as high a review they think it deserves, but they don't nerd rage and send death threats. Really these guys are the nerds that other nerds want nothing to do with because they give us all a bad name and make us look like unstable manics.

Oh great. More idiots. I mean, seriously. Really? Every person has a right to voice their opinion or thoughts, whether they like it or not. Maybe TDKR might not be as strong of an entry as TDK, maybe it will. But she has her reason to say that it's not "OMG! BEST THANG EVAR!", and she's being honest about it. Brutally honest about it.

Nice find. "The design will contine to evolve": that reminds me of the Gamera trilogy.
So there is still a chance of a different design...awesome.

And about reviews...When Godzilla LP gets released i am not going to read them and i wont give a damn
about it, i will only care about going to the Theater and be entertained.

I believe August on facebook said the trailer was only meant for Comic Con and was told it will never come out. Honestly, it was concept footage and now I could care less if I ever see it. I just want to see them go forward on the movie now. Pacific Rim can keep me happy until then.

That's not surprising since that movie might not be out for another two more years. No way that they will market the film so early.

It's not meant to be filmed by people in the audience. It goes under copyright infringement as well (and posting it on YouTube and saying "no copyright infringement intended" like an idiot doesn't get you off the hook either) if you film it. When the movie company shows up and says "please don't film this", why would you be an asshole and film it?

It'll be out on the blu-ray or whatever possibly. It has enough of a buzz that it might be seen. If anything, it was just to get people talking about the movie to remind them that "hey! we're still wanting to make this!"

Are we sure it just won't be used like months later to generate hype? Oh well, they could at least put it on the DVD as an extra. Guess we just have to wait longer for a different trailer. Until then, we just need to preoccupy ourselves with something else. I still have hope for this film, but I don't feel like talking about the same thing over and over until we get a teaser/trailer released to the public, which might not be for a long while. A little disappointing. Still, we got a poster and hype build up at CC, it's nice to know they are moving forward.
