Apparently the release is tentative for September, that'd be awesome.

I can't say I'm a fan of any of those cover arts, although that steelbook looks decent. I hope the US artwork is cooler, plus, I hope we get a nifty collector's edition of the movie.

I like the standard BR cover, the original poster art, something about the anatomy looks weird but that looks more like it should.

If that standard BR cover had more of Godzilla's head being shown a little more I'd probably be all for it. The way he's angled in that picture makes it look almost like his head is cut off. I don't know, just not very appealing to me.

I don't like it for the cover, I just think Godzilla himself inserted into that image looks more nature and correct than the original poster here.

As cool overall as the poster is, something about his head and the flow of the spines just seems off.

I'm not a big fan of the cover where G has his back turned, but I absolutely love the frontal shot of him. I'll buy that in a heartbeat.

In other news, I just bought a brand new regular and teaser Godzilla poster from my local theater. Plus, the theater manager said she might be able to get me one of those massive bus shelter posters from someone else she has a connection with. It's been a good day. :D

I like all of the covers (DVD cover is really misleading) but if a collector's edition comes out without a disc-case, I don't think I would feel urged to double-dip for coverart alone.

It bothers me that Bandai has not released the official pictures of the new HG set, but perhaps soon?

Found a great deal on a couple Godzilla t-shirts, I got the poster shirt for $10 shipped, can't beat that.

If only it could have been movie accurate :/

Not saying it isn't very cool. It is, and some of the changes you could argue make the design better, but I guess I just long for a more movie-accurate figure of G14.

The general shape and proportions are about right, but the details are stylized.

The cuts in the figure kinda ruin the minsterarts Godzilla 14 for me. I loved some of the enhanced details includingh the stretched jaw that the 6 inch (tall) neca didnt have but that and the 12 inch look more like a solid sculpt that offers a decent amount of movement without botching the appearence. my god those legs in the monsterarts remind me of the gap the 1995 figure had, saving my money for neca now

Sakai's original sculpt was much better than the articulated version.

I agree. Something just looks off about the final product.
