Exactly. The KC in 74 was a golem because his mass was larger than Godzilla's though they were the same size. He was obviously made of heavier stuff.
The FW KC has less mass than the Godzilla in FW. That means he's flesh and blood, or that Godzilla really needs to cut down on the fried Kamacuras.
