Godzilla X Varan, Baragon and Anguirus

I like the final product quite alot. Considering how insanely powerful Godzilla is in GMK I have a hard time picturing Varan, Anguirus, and Baragon lasting long at all against him.

I find it ridiculous when people quantify a monsters power level as somehow relevant to a films quality or plot. Especially when you involve monsters that never existed.

Hell, I don't even get why people bring up monsters strength outside of Fantasy Matches to begin with.

Mostly because A) It's my least favorite KG of all time and B) seeing Mothra teamed up with Ghidorah just makes me want to crawl into a hole and DIE.

I don't care if it's an elseworlds tale, nothing should be that backasswards.

People have been doing this for almost a decade now. Lamenting what they didn't get as opposed to what they actually got. We get it. Varan and Angilas should have been in this movie. They weren't. We got Mothra and King Ghidora instead. After a while you just got to let it go. GMK ended up being successful either way, perhaps more successful than if third tier monsters like Angilas and Varan has appeared in it.

Ya know, I haven't seen anyone talk about the maser tank and Gotengo ideas for the film. It would have been cool to see the Gotengo ressurected in a non-GFW film (though it wouldn't be the same without Don Frye haha lolz). Would have been cool. Seeing Varan being held down by Godzilla, who has Angilas on his back giving him a hard time. In the foreground, maser cannons are simulatenously teaming them while the Gotengo goes to give Goji the what for.

This movie would've been best if it were left up to Shuzuke Kaneko. If the man had the freedom that Dean Delvin and Rolland Emmerich had with their masterpiece of shit film then this would've been sick. It was still a top notch film compared to everything else Toho has thrown at us since G84 imo.

I actually preferred the choice of Mothra and King Ghidorah. A divine moth and a dragon scream 'Legendary guardian' more than two oversized dinosaurs.

I'll always prefer KG as a evil planet destroying monster, but my problem with him in GMK wasn't that he was good, rather that his design was kinda lame, and I hated how he was killed 3 times in a row and never posed any threat to Godzilla. Neither did Baragon or Mothra for that matter.
