Same. I was 15 at the time...and I wasn't impressed. I actually was slightly embarrassed when it was over...was this what was in store for us for the new series?
I have to admit, I had a good time watching it on the big screen at this years G-fest...but I was with a group of friends, and kinda buzzed, so that probably helped matters.![]()
Overall, the movie isn't BAD, but it's definitely not exciting. The CGI is really, REALLY bad...but I can let it slide considering the film's age. I will say the miniature work was probably the best since the 80's, thanks to the monsters being smaller scale.
