Kiryu-Goji took the Mire-Goji design and greatly improved it, in my opinion.

From favorite to least:
GMK - Actually one of my Top 5. I also like how well it's composited into the real backgrounds.
G2K/GXM - I'm kinda warming up to this one. What stop it from being one of my favorites is (and has always been) the posture.
GxMG/Tokyo SOS - Feels like cheaper version of the above.
GFW - Not as terrible as other aspects of the film, but still nothing noteworthy.
Every film should have at least one animal attack.

I couldn't agree more. Other than the ugly snaggletooth look, his posture made him looked hunched over all the time, and it just didn't look right to me. He looked like he had scoliosis or something.

I just thought I'd mention this: I'm surprised at how many people like the Heisei Godzilla suit but dislike Final-Goji, when the two are remarkably similar. The latter is simply a slimmed-down, far more flexible version of the former, with a new head and spines. I agree that the spines are bad, but otherwise it's a pretty good suit.

If he had trouble walking, would that indicate that he has poliosis?

Often times, the head is the most important part of the suit for me. Everything about the attitude of the monster is contained in the expression. If I'm not feeling that much, then the designer has already lost the battle.

Uh..no? Poliosis has nothing to do with posture.

Cool story bro. It was an exaggeration.

If you wanna get all defensive about me "talking shit" about a Godzilla design that you hold dear, you can come up with a more constructive way to do it than that.

The MireGoji is one of my least favorite Godzilla's. I think it looks ridiculous.

I love mire goji, I can see why some could have a problem with it. But I find the design absolutely amazing

That's a very good point. For that reason, I can certainly see the Heisei appeal. His face (at least in '89 & '91) had this look of raw animal power & ferocity, while retaining an intelligent appearance.

Final-Goji, to me, looks more like an adolescent in comparison. He's still every bit as fierce and intelligent, but lacks experienced look that Heisei Godzilla has.

Some might say that it's just a big lizard, so who cares, but it really is amazing what tweaking a few proportions will do to audience perceptions and empathy.

Well after watching GxMG and GSOS, I kinda like Kiryu-Goji more. I dunno why, but I get a Heisei vibe from it. Modernized Heisei Godzilla?

Kiryu-Goji doesn't really resemble the heisei suit. If ANY suit does, it's Final-Goji.

I don't see this "Heisei vibe" from the Kiryu-Goji in the slightest. Like Rody mentioned, the Final-Goji almost looks like an extremely slimmed down Heisei Goji. The feet, back plates, and head are all pretty different though.

Well thats all fine and dandy. I still get the vibe when I look at it though. FW Goji is horrible to look at. Particularly the face. Ugh.

Same here. It's the all-around fullest Millennium suit, stands upright and has the same basic attitude. To me it brings to mind the Heisei Godzilla than any other suit in this series.
